Born in New Orleans, La in 1976 Alonzo Butler grew up drawing and painting,
surrounded by the paintings of his parents. He is an outstanding
and an accomplished artist. He loves to paint - it has always been
an important part of his life. Both of his parents were artist and he
grew up watching them work and seeing the joy they got from
creating art. He studied art in college, where he experimented
with the popular trends of the day and spent 6 years working as a
graphic artist. Throughout his artistic journey he have always been
drawn to the art of painting. Alonzo's art has been aquired by New Orleans
